From this page you can download the Gipsy Moth IV Project Screensaver. The instructions for how to download, install and set up the screensaver are below.
The screensaver contains images taken throughout the project, including the legs of the voayge. Samples of the images are shown opposite. We will be updating the images as Gipsy Moth IV's voyage continues, so don't forget to come back and check for the latest version.

Step 1: Click on the link below to start downloading the executable file. You can chose to either save it to your hard drive or run it. Please read the instructions for setting up the screensaver before you run it (Steps 9 & 10 below).

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the file, run the application. The following window will appear asking if you wish to continue, click 'YES'.
Step 3: The installation wizard will open with the window shown below. If you want to continue the installation click 'NEXT'.
Step 4: The window below will be the next to appear. We suggest that you accept the default option and just click 'NEXT'.
Step 5: The window below will be next to appear. This will place an application icon in your Start menu. We suggest that you accept the default option at this stage and just click 'NEXT'.
Step 6: The window below will be next to appear. This is the final stage in the installation process. If you want to continue just click 'INSTALL'. The screensaver will then be installed on your computer.
Step 7: Once the installation is complete the following window will appear. We suggest that you uncheck both of the tick boxes and then clieck 'FINISH'. You are now ready to setup your preferred options for how the screensaver runs on your computer.
Step 8: From the Start menu, open the Conrol Panel and then open the Display panel.
Step 9: In the Dipslay Properties window select the Screen Saver tab. The Gipsy Moth IV Project Screensaver should already be sleect in the drop down menu. If not, open the menu and select it. Decide how many miniutes you want your computer to wait before starting the screensaver. Now click on the Settings button.
Step 10: When you click on the Settings button the following window will appear. Here you can determin how the screen saver will run. You can turn the music ON of OF from the first tab. You can also set the Exit Conditions, these determine how the screensaver stops, the default settings are by mouse click or pressing the ESC key on the keyboard.
When you have chosen the settings you would like, click 'OK'. You will return to the Display Properties window where you should click 'OK' again.
