Find out more about the route that GMIV is taking and the countries the crews will visit on their amazing voyage. You can access lots of useful information about the countries iincluding time, weather, national anthems, basic language, history, geography, cluture, religion etc. Click on the image opposite to launch the IVC.

- Gipsy Moth IV Anthem -
Mark Knopfler who wrote and performed the Dire Straits song “Single Handed Sailor” has given the GMIV project the rights to use the song as the project anthem. Inspired by the demise of the vessel when she lay in Greenwich in his words “tied down in chains” Mark has wished the project his very best.
Follow the link to download for free the Dire Straits track "Single Handed Sailor" from their album "Communiqué". To save the file right click on the name and choose "Download linked file".
