If you would like to receive SMS updates about the Gipsy Moth IV project please register your details below. We will be sending updates concerning key events leading up to GM Day on 25th September and then throughout the voyage itself concerning where the boat is, weather data from her location, picture and video updates to the Web Site, broadcasts on GMTV and more. This service is free to you and will enable you to stay in touch with this unique and historic voyage.
Competitions
You will also receive notification of competitions relating to Gipsy Moth IV. Some of the competitions will be run through the GMIV web site with prizes including such things as family holidays with The Moorings, the chance to win watersports and yachting courses at UKSA, as well as the chance to win a day out sailing on Gipsy Moth IV.
Other competitions will be run through mobile phones; the prizes will include Sundog Sunglasses, Gipsy Moth IV caps and other merchandise. You will be sent a message informing you of the question for the competition and the closing date, this message is free of charge to you. To enter the competition you simply send a text message to the number 80806 containing the keyword ‘GM’ followed by your answer to the competition. You will then receive notification of your entry to the competition at which point your mobile account will be billed £1.50, of which approximately 90 pence will go direct to the charity (amount varies depending on your network operator).
